Hi everyone,
I've been a regular user of cannabis now for about a decade and a half. I find that it helps reduce my anxiety by putting my problems into perspective. For the past five years I've lived in a medical marijuana state and am now a bona fide medicinal user and my own caregiver. While I thoroughly enjoy the relationship I have with the cannabis plant, I am concerned that I spend too much money on it. As far as I see it, that says more about current policy regarding the plant than it does about my need for it, but either way, I've decided that the best way to reduce my expenditure in the long run would be to start growing.
I've been spending a few months doing research on the growing topic, checking out this and other forums. I've decided to join 420magazine.com because of the friendliness and knowledge of the members.
I'm tentatively planning on doing a deep water culture scrog grow under 42-watt CFLs in a cabinet I am custom building to fit snugly into my closet. Although my grow will be legal, I wish to keep it "stealth" for when family comes around. I'll be looking for advice on the "Cabinet, Closet & Grow Room Setup" subforum, and once I'm settled on the details, I'll begin my grow log in earnest.
I look forward to meeting and working with all of you growers!
