Germination

I'm not sure if im doing it right i got a few seeds and i got a few seeds in a paper towel....Does it need to be dark to germinate them?

the paper towel is wet also but no sopping wet

I bet they pop just fine. I've germinated seeds on sunny window sills, in dark rooms, in cups of water in both lit and dark rooms, etc.

Make sure to keep your paper towel moist and once the tap root is out 1/4" or so, delicately remove them from the paper towel so you don't tear any micro hairs off of the roots and bury them 1/4" deep in your medium.
