Green light for working in the dark

so i have this living room light thing with all colors of the rainbow and i want to know if I can use
the green light for working in the dark or do i need to have different type of green light?

standard green incandescent party light color green is good,
plants can't see this waveband and light in it..!

I'm pretty sure it would be fine to use a color changing light as long as you can keep it on green and it won't change colors when you are working.
