Grodan granulated

I want to do a cap'n style grow.....

Seems I can only get grodan granulated in my neck of the woods, see random link..........

Its not exactly chopped grodan squares but its similar, I reckon it might hold to much moisture and not let the roots breath enough..... What do you guys reckon ?

That's crazy, I'm in the UK a and I can get them...I normally really struggle to find stuff.
I think that stuff should be ok, I would mix it with 10% hydrocorn and 10% perlite for better drainage.

hmmm that stuff looks like it could get heavy,kind of like my reused mini cubes.

Would you care to elaborate on why you have suggested to use the hydrocorn and perlite as oppose to just one or the other ?

Do they work well together ?

I just like to mix it up, I believe they have different drainage ratios
Thinking about it you may want to use 20% perlite or hydro corn

Got my minicubes last year from amazon--plenty of vendors. Some high priced, some seemed competitive with free shipping. I don't know about the granualted stuff. Never tried it.
