Grow box 400w MH

i have ordered a 400w metal halide and have questions on how big of a grow box should it be in? how much square footage? how many plants can the light grow? how far away from plant tops should the light be? how much vertical space should it have?

how many plants do you want? what type of ventilation? how big do you want your plants?

I want to keep the plants under 3 ft but I'm baseing the question of how many based on what u suggest. Also what is correct spacing from light to top of plant?

How many lumens? What type of ballast? Traditional MH or CMH? What brand/model of bulb? Will you be flowering with a separate HPS bulb & fixture? A HPS conversion bulb? The MH?
