Growing autos

:welcome: to :420: !

5x5 feet? Probably not. If 120 is the true wattage it pulls, that still doesn't offer a lot of coverage. Have you hooked it up and observed the footprint your light covers when it is a couple of feet off the ground? I have an LED pulling 130 true watts and I think it would cover a single plant well, but it all depends on the auto and how big it gets.

Doubtful. I don't grow with LEDs but 5x5 would be the max that I'd want to cover with my 600w HPS. With only four plants it can be crowded. A leaf here, a leaf there, here a bush there a bush, pretty soon you can't see the tree for the forest. IOW diminishing returns.

I would say no.
I have a 4x4 tent and when i made the switch to led i started with a good 430 watt full spectrum led.
The coverage & penetration was minimal and growth slowed.
I bit the bullet and bought a Mars II 1600 watt full spectrum to get the coverage & penetration i wanted.
I am very pleased with it but it comes down to your budget.
There are a number of very informative threads on the forums here on wattage per square foot and such.
Some research would be your best bet.
