Harvest whole plant or only buds that are ready?

After examining with a 30x micro. I realized that the top is alot furter along than the bottom(obviously). I just wondered what you guys thought about cutting buds off as they are ready in order to give the lower buds a few extra days, or just take her down all at once. Any pro's or con.

U can do either or. I've done both in the past. When u harvest the canopy to leave the lower buds to finish, in my experience the lower buds don't get any bigger just more potent. Don't expect much (volume wise) from the remaining lower buds.

I've always practiced trimming off lower/inner buds to help fatten up the tops before harvest, but then you just end up with a bunch of airy, half-ripe leaf-n-hair nugs that don't get you much.

So I'm thinking of flipping a 180 and trying this method myself in the next 2 weeks. Guess we'll see how it works out...
