Harvesting energetic weed?

So here’s a close-up of the trichomes from my nifty digital microscope.

I was considering waiting to harvest until they’re super amber and couch-lock-inducing, but then my wife and friend who I share my stash with convinced me against it — they prefer more energetic weed.

If I’m going for fairly energetic weed, how close are these buds to harvest? The trichomes seem fairly cloudy, not really any amber yet.

Again in my opinion those are at peek ripeness without any degradation to cbn.
