Heh. Donkeys are significantly more intelligent than horses. In human terms, the average donkey has an IQ of approximately 100. Which can be good - but it does tend to mean you cannot treat one like a horse, or expect it to act like a horse.

BtW, mules (female horse × male donkey cross) are smarter than either of their parents. Hybrid vigor. . . .
