I am a new member and I am in a tricky situation. I inherited an amazing foot tall ceramic wizard water pipe, (let me know if you want pics). It is a very rare piece that is dated 30 years ago and let me tell you, it def. had 30 years of "gunk" in it. Sooo, I started cleaning it with steaming hot water and then moved on to the iso. alch. and salt method. That did a great job cleaning it, but that stuff did not come off easy. I performed this method about 5 times and now it's all clean accept this little tiny bit that I couldn't reach with a bottle brush, scraper, or scouring pad. It also has a foul stench coming out of it and makes me avoid using it. OK. Now that that's off my chest, what can I use to get that last bit of gunk out and what can I do to get rid of the smell in it?
