Help: burnt leaves?

Hello Im a first time grower and I’ve got two little ladies with light damage?! My first initial thoughts were the grow light is just too close and powerful at the same time. But I’d prefer an experienced growers advise.
The plants have been treated for pests with neem oil spray. This seemed to clear the pests but now there’s damage to the edges of the top leaves.
My young one has taken the most damage overnight and the top fan leaves on my developed lady gained these spots just last night.

Did you spray the neem oil when the lights were on?

No. I have seen people burn their plants spraying the plants while having the lights on.

They have an odd lighting schedule due to my working schedule until I buy a plug timer. They are under a 1000w LED. It’s about a foot and a half away from them now. I got up in the night to use the restroom and noticed my little lady’s damage then the next night my big girl so I assume it must be the light especially because of it’s wattage

I don't use LED but 1000 watt LED add a foot and a half seems pretty close to me.what does your light manufacturer suggest for distance? I would probably double that distance to see what happens.

I appreciate your help I’ll update their condition being the light is now further from the ladies. Hoping for the best.
