Has anyone ever used a mh and a hps bulb in the same tent while veg I need to add another light but I currently only have one of each bulb could it cause harm to them

Only issue will be heat hps and mh work fine together.I use led and hps in same grow.The more light the better.
I agree with BeanTown heat is going to be a issue.

You could just keep it just as it is. It a fuller spectrum. I would just use the mh for vegetative growth. Then flip on the hps with the mh or get another hps bulb.

I'm going to the shop tomorrow to get another bulb I thought 2 mh 600w bulbs would be good for them? Should I just buy another hps because I'm thinking of flippin in next 2 weeks, and could I use the mh while in flower? I thought they was only for veg stage

The new CMH's are fine for flower. Having said that, HPS may give you better results. I think your current setup of hps and cmh is just fine for flower and veg.
