Mixing lights

I'm having hot spot issues at full bright 1000w HPS w/a horizontal reflector.. I think misleading claims by LED companies about Sq. ft. coverage flowering vs HPS lead me to too much light for the 5X5 room.. anyway, my issue, but.. I've decided to add another horizontal reflector and swap out the (1)1000w for (2)400w bulbs run at 600/750watts.. That said.. I really liked everything about the plant growth running the MH @600watts during veg. and am considering whether I might want to run (1)MH & (1)HPS instead.. Anybody run this mix?? thanks, laters

I think two hps would probably be more productive, but I haven't used hps or mh myself.
I've seen hps and cmh used together I think would be similar, it was very successful and the best looking buds were getting both types of light but they were all good.

Led claims are super misleading, at least untill you get into high dollar stuff or diy. I'm still a little pissy over what I thought was a 600 watt led...lol buyer beware.
