Help me train

So I decided to start training my plants. Yesterday I pulled the main stalk to the side and tied it down. It's been tied down for 24 hours so far and I've noticed all the leaves are growing upwards already. So a couple questions. How long do I leave it tied in this direction before I release it? How do I get it to go in the other direction now that its growing in the opposite direction. What do I do next plz help.

I DONT Top but instead just run the main stem around the outer edge of the pot as it grows, I only up-pot
once into to a 10 gal plastic and use a RIM MOUNT SCROG Net from there.

I do not untie until they are put under the SCROG NET
BTW the best thing to use to tie down the branches are PIPE CLEANERS they are soft
and give a bit so they dont cut into the young branches

Here is a very nice diagram showing how I LST around the Pot Rim. Not sure who made this
diagram but they must of been in my head

If you LST like this the center will fill in very very tight as she starts branching

OH I Start the LST on the second day from POP, My Seedlings tend to stretch a bit when
they first come up so pulling them over slows that down some

Here's a link that I found. It's how I did mine. Make sure you read the whole thread. Lots of good info to be found.
