Training question

When you’re training by bending them over and tying them down do you keep the ties on there indefinitely or just until they have been able to keep that position? I am training LST by bending her over so The canopy will be bigger but I’m confused on if I have to keep the ties on.

Keep ties on. Plants will correct if they can make sure they have space for the stem to swell without cutting off fluid flow.

I keep the bridle on 'til the horse is in the barn.

I keep ties on until I have something tied on higher up or they are too tight on the plant stem, some of my pipe cleaner holds have been on a plant a full grow but that was plants that I didn't top but rather bent the top of plant to the bottom of the plant, sorta like making it touch its toes
