Hi all. I’ve had these Runtz flowering for 6 weeks and they’ve looked amazing. Then over this past week, the sugar leaves on some of the plants have gained this orange rust and quite quickly. Ive used nitrogen and cal/mag right through and they were looking amazing. It doesn’t rub off like mould, but I’m getting a bit worried now. Any advice would be appreciated

Beautiful girls my friend. Welcome to 420magazine.
Week 6 of flower you should not be giving your ladies nitrogen.
As flower comes to an end she doesn't require it.
Calmag is probably good, but what are you growing in?
What else have you been feeding her any P Or K?
How have you been feeding her?
Whats your ppm or feed strength?
What are your room temps and humidity levels?
How is your air circulation?
All important info if we are going to help????

You have two threads going with same question?

Thanks for the reply!

Im growing in coco and I’m using canna pk 13/14

current nute formula is
Canna A+B 20ml
Boost 25ml
B52 20ml
Overdrive 20ml
Carboload 20ml
PK 13/14 10ml
Riz 30ml
Cannazyme 15ml
Cal/mag 10ml

fed a litre a day from beginning of flower which seemed to be working fine.
ATM the room temp is 26.2 and RH is 35%

got 18 under 4 lights

I cut back on nitrogen at this stage. Rh is a little low. Do you put cal mag in mixture first? Coco is hydroponic what's your ph? 5.8?
You say you give a liter of water a day. Do you know how to water properly?
Coco should be kept moist at all times. Your only giving 1 liter. At this stage they will empty that pot immediately. You should be feeding to run off 2x a day judging by the size of those pots.
If you haven't been watering properly you have a buildup of salts in those pots.
I'd flush your pots then start feeding properly with nutrients ph,d to 5.8
No more nitrogen after week .

Thanks for the help. How long should I flush for? The pots are 15ltr. Quite new to growing, this is my 5th and 1st runtz. I ph 5.8-6.2 usually. If I did 2 feeds a day, should I do both with nutes, or 1 nute and 1 water? The just add the cal/mag when I get to it on the list too, think it goes in around 5th. I have to open the door a little sometimes as the temp goes up to 30, but when I do that the humidity drops. I’ll take the nitrogen out now then too. Thanks for the reply

In theory 3 x the volume of the pot wit ph,d water. Do it as best you can.
5.8 exactly is your sweet spot for nutrients. Try your best to stay there.
Put your calmag in first. The other nutrients bind to it for easier uptake.
Your going to feed every single time. Twice a day in those 3 gal bags is good.
Your vpd is way off . If you can don't let the temps get above 28c.
You rh should be in 50,s if you can. Get environment close as you can.
Temp is better at 28 more important than rh.

Hi Biggie...ehm nice list of Nutrients, However i cant find on what amount of water you are using this on?

And did you flush during the flower period? Do you use meters like PH and EC meters?

do you measure your run off?

And looking at your pics my first thoughts are "Heat Stress" 26,2 is a bit high Or a K overload

i dont know what the wattage is of those lamps and at what time your measured your Temp (when light went on, or after a few hours)

However you're the one who watches these Ladies closely like "Shit on the sole of your shoe"
and you can answer many of our questions i think and certainly a lot of your own

Take a look at this page....even i learned a lot things i never knew before, and i have been growing for over 30 years! just by checking this page Plant Abuse Chart

Plants look burnt late in flower to me (too much N).

You probably be fine I'd dial back the nutrients and in coco - soil-less maybe there's some fertilizer build up in the sub-straight. I'm a soil grower so not sure how the soil-less guys deal with excess salts. I'm guess ... ahem .... flushing??
