help with grow

hey. i just got fem northern lights and fem grapefruit seeds from dope-seeds
i was just wonderin if anyone here has tried either of these?? and if so what soil and nutes did u use or would recomend. and i want thesee plants to finish out at 3 foot a pce. so would topping be something i should do? or just flower them from a small size? thanks
and for lights i got 8 cfls for veggin and a 150 hps for flower.. only growin a few plants..

I recommend fox farms products for soil and nutes, they have some pretty good stuff. A 150-watt HPS will work ok for 1 plant in flower, you will need more watts than 150 if your going to grow more than one plant.

a 150 caint grow 2 plants? that doesnt seem right. my friend has like 4 or 5 plants under a 150 and there growing perfectly. but ill add more watts to it befor i flower
