Hi does anyone know if my plant is ready to harvest or will I leave her alone to get more plumb the buds are not very big probably 70% of hairs are getting a brownish color smells good doesnt look like alot of bud though could someone help me out thanks.

what color are the trichomes? The color of the pistils means little .. they can turn colors very early.

Then you are indeed close... but do yourself a favor and wait for 2-5% amber before harvesting any of it... and I suggest several harvests... one at barely seeing amber, one at 10% and another at 20% or better, and then you will know what you prefer.

maybe longer... that last 2 weeks the buds almost double in size. It usually doesnt occur until all cloudy. I would guess that you are a week away from budswell and then 2 weeks after that starts. Watch the trichomes though... it is hard to judge from a picture and gauging the estimate on bud size, but the trichomes on the buds are what rules.

Pistil color won't tell you when they are done. Most or all of them will be red when it is ready to harvest. Thing is lots of strains keep getting better well after the hairs are red.

Almost all red but not alot of big buds at all still has some white hairs so maybe let it go abit longer

Yes. At least let them all turn red. Small buds might also be a indicator they are not finished. Buds should swell before harvest. A lot happens at the end of flower. They pump out more resin and add bulk at the end.

It is important to not harvest too early. While it will have a headier high lots of times the high is incomplete harvested early.

Remember. Very few plants are harvested late. Most are taken to early or on time.

I would give it a little more time. The white hair on top won't matter much you may find them in finished plants. Watch the lower branches. When the hairs on the lower branches have turned red like the top buds you are pretty close.

Ok good to know I ask alot of questions lol it's my first time.will the bottom buds get bigger and how long will I wait

Keep the plant going tell they quit getting bigger. When plants are finished you will see them stall out. Very little will be happening growth wise. If they are still bulking up leave them.

It is not just weight you will lose. The quality of the high is a lot different between almost finished and finished. Flavors improve also.

I know it is killing you. It does it to us all. Your first few grows are always a mystery. You have put a lot of time to get you to this point. Don't give up to early. You are within days or weeks now. Way too close to not finish them right.
