How many watts can the feds scan?

How many watts can the piggies scan? from their helicoptors (choppers)??

Is it the light they scan? or the heat produced by the light(s)?

A friend of mine seems to think 400W can easily be detected from a couple of miles away, is this true?

Anyone with any real info? or know where i can get some factual information from?

Infrared scanning is now illegal and they can't do it at all.

I'm not sure about london. But IIRC there was a law passed saying fly by infra scans of private residences was an invasion of privacy and constituted an illegal search.

They can still however fly around looking for marijuana plants based on reflection.
