How much to trim?

Hey all posting a new thread about my plants they are looking good I think I want to try flowering even though they are on the smaller end of the spectrum. Any advice before I do something bad?? Do I trim fan leaves off. Heavy trimming or just a light “take off the small stuff” looking for some input thanks everyone. (I’m aiming to pull a few clones off each of these for my next cycle)

I wouldn’t touch them. Since you’re about to change the light schedule, they are going to stretch quite a bit. From the looks of it, they are open and are allowing light to penetrate just fine. Since they’re about to receive six hours less of light per day, you want as many leaves on your baby as possible to soak up those rays of light to create energy. Only if a plant is extremely bushy on its interior would I trim before flowering. All of your training, training, and defoliating should be done throughout its vegetative growth period, and in the final week of harvest.

Cheers.
