I am a new grower and I need help with water level question

I put water in my DWC 2 days ago with 3.5 gallons. My water is 2 inches in a gallon bucket now. Is that normal. Girls Look amazing but want to keep it way. I have been putting normal distilled water in there until I put a new bucket of nuts in. This is a good thing for sure. They grew 3 inches yesterday. Im going to renue the nutes tomorrow. Im just amazed by the growth
Not MAD! Just wanted some thoughts if there are any available

Adding distilled water is fine but make sure you ph to 5.8-6.2 change nutes once a week. Don’t push strong nutrient solutions. A lot of times you can get away with half of what’s recommended

Thank you for that. I qas just amazed that almost 2.of the three gallons were sucked up already by my plants
