thatd be kool if it worked like that but sadly it doesnt, unfortunatly budda you gbotta cook the pot, which is why people make cookie, n brownies , you cook the bud n it releases the thc into the air, but wait thees brownie and cookie mix everywhere so it gets stuck there, you eat it you get high, cold food such as tuna no heat, no high.PEACE.

I wish i had known this lol. I had 2 of those little debbie brownies with the walnuts, (so fucking good). and i mixed in alike a 1/8th of pot in between them both and ate them. i didnt notice i wasnt high because i was drunk.

You don't HAVE to cook the pot, it helps A LOT though...
And I say this from experiance...

"About half of the THC in uncooked cannabis is in the form of THC carboxylic acid which is much less absorbable than the free form. Heating above 140 degrees C, such as smoking (as in a joint not as in flavouring with smoke), roasting or a fast, hard fry will decarboxylate the compound to THC, doubling the potency."

"More than 70 percent of the fresh weight of the plant os water. Drying is done to evaporate most of this water, so the marijuana will burn evenly and smoke smoothly. Additionally, the cannabinoids in fresh plant material are mostly in the acid forms, which are not psychoactive. The acid cannabinoids decarboxylate (they lose the gas, carbon dioxide) during the drying or curing processes, which convert them to their psychoactive neutral forms. Decarboxylation is complete if the marijuana is actually smokes."

So basically, you don't NEED to, it's just MUCH MORE EFFECTIVE.
