Quite new to this forum business. I have been growing for maybe a total of one year with varying results. Trying organic soil this time but already thinking of going back to hydroponics. Would like to give NFT a go. Have some 2x4 size channels with 1 5/8 inch holes. Grow space is 20" x 60" x 45". Thinking Scrog using Grodand plugs. Any one with this kind of experience will to share. Another thing is that I may not be able to go with HPS lighting due to excessive heat. Where is the leading edge of LED? Is it ready comercially or still too formative. Thanks

Welcome to 420, Home of the Deep Water Culture!

You're going to love it here. Lots of fun and lots of infromation!

In my opinion, LED lights are getting the job done, but VERY EXPENSIVE.!!!

I hae the additional costs of heating and venting so I use 1000 watts of CFL lights and avoid the extra costs of HEATING AND VENTING.

If you have any questions, look me up or anyone here is very glad to help you.
