Dunno dude. I don't use blurple lights.
If the used one is $100 and broken and the new one is a little more but works and has a warranty. Probably not a good deal.

Well if you want warranty buy new do no buy a broken light.
They have also said in their opinion that mars II lights die in a year not sure who accurate that is though.
