Thank you. I have grown a few times indoors before (mostly have done outside), and I feel like 9 oz on this method for 3x3 on a 1000w has would be light. Mind you, this is a 4x4. When seed banks say 3x3 are they assuming a growing technique? For example are they assuming SCROG?

Usually the seed breeder and seed banks express the highest expected known yields based of the parentage plants for which the strain is based on for producer operations who choose which seed variety is purchased by grow yield alone for the seasons operations and not home hobbyist level personal medical cannabis grows. Providing the necessary illumination and environmental conditions to increase gram per watt efficiency is more applicable to home consumer level experience. Plant count limits combined with growing methods and techniques can greatly improve harvested gram per watt efficiency.

Update: 3/23/22

I’ve been trying to get temp and RH dialed in. Trying to hit that 50 to 55 on RH and temps 75 to 78. Temps haven’t been much of an issue, but RH has been. Low 40s during day and 70s at night. My solution way equipment. Problem: no room in the 4x4. Solution: Buy a 5x5.

Just got it all squared away and they are about to go to bed. We will see how the equipment and humidistat work together. I’m sure I’ll have to make some adjustments.

That is a humidifier (not tested in this set up yet) in the upper left corner of the floor. And a dehumidifier in the lower right. Heater is just to the left of that.

Critiques on my equipment set up are very welcome.

Most of the grow equipment is made to standard sizes based on either shipping efficiency or area layout and access efficiency. The 3' x 3' area is 9 square feet and equates to a 1000 watt - 1500 watt High Intensity Discharge lights coverage area favoured for production operations. Light intensity decreases by 1/4 per linear foot from the light source.

So, it is more than possible to surpass yield estimates with more square footage and growing techniques?

There are different methods which emphasize either many small plants for individual cola bud formation or spreading out a plants surface area to increase individual bud site growth versus conventional traditional single plant yields.

Took clones off the Blue Cheese mother today. Ready for summer and next tent rotation.

They were supposed to be 8 week, but I think I’m going to start counting flower from showing pistils. These look like they have at least 3 weeks left.

Day 58 from flip
Supposed to be a 8 week, but I see 2 more weeks if not 3. Only one plant has over 50% orange and one has one has absolutely none. Trichomes are clear on all still.

Not a great yielder to be honest. I’ll be lucky to pass 10 oz I think. But I chose it for outdoor this year because it is supposed to be great against budrot and PM.

This grow ended up being wayyyyy longer than expected. Still going another week.

Can anyone answer this question please:
Can cannabis still be ripe (given trichomes are milky) with majority white hairs? Or in other words, will some phenos finish while still maintaining white hairs?
