LED question

When growing in a growbox with an LED light, lets say, hydro grow led penetration light, do you still need to use reflective material such as mylar on the walls, or is this not necessary with these lights? I ask because I will soon be constructing my first box and I intend to use LED lights throughout the whole process

I'm sure it doesnt hurt to have reflective material but it is not as effective as with HID or CFL as the LED beam is fairly focused.

Hey McBudz, thanks for the quick answer. Makes sense, really I should have thought of that but my knowledge is currently at 0 on almost all of the box construction aspects and I do want to get it right the first time!
