Heya Popcorn and thanks for stopping by.
The first petition that opened this thread has expired. if you follow my sig link, you will actually see it directs you to a post of mine, where i went to the petition site and relisted a much newer one.

mine is still valid untill next year. i picked the longest running one for us to work with and get the message out =)

Yep i took that link and have now got it circulating FaceBook Aswell, Cant believe how well the government have hid this away from people :420:

cameron is an idiot...cannabis is one of the best things for our economy right now. there is a ton of money thats flowing out of the country due to the import side of things that would die over night and there is millions in tax availible if one could buy it legally.

we all know how much it costs to grow compared to street price. couple hundred% mark up for the manufcturer and then HM could slap on 100% tax and it would still be as cheap or cheaper than a tenner a gram. just imagine how many gramms are gonna get smoked in the entire of great britain over this weekend and picture £5 going to the tax man for every one....christ thats a lot of money.

hell at £1 normal tax and then income tax and vat one study claims

Overall the net benefit to the taxpayer of a taxed and regulated cannabis market could range from £3.4 Billion to £9.5 Billion per annum, with a best estimate of £6.7 Billion per year at recent market levels.

10 billion a year at least is my guess...thats like 10% of ALL NHS costs. wonder how much of those costs are from 'fixing' cannabis related issues...

like i said, cameron is stupid, the world of capitalism has gone insane when it uses thread bare ethical reasons to stop itself making billions.

I see what you mean there, i think personally its nothing to do with the fact its a drug but the fact it would actually lose the NHS money, as alot of patients wouldnt go there as often and thats how they get there money at the end of the day, but then in hindsight it would also drop the costs to the NHS so theres is alot of good reasoning.

I want to campaign because my mother had Cancer for 20-22 years, she smoked from the day i was born till the day that she passed in 2009, she smoked on a daily basis as it helped her deal with pain and stress and also THIS IS A DIRECT QUOTE FROM THE DOCTOR '' we are now giving her 80% less Morphene, as the cannabis works so well as pain relief and help to sleep plus gives her an appetite'', she passed 10 days after stopping smoking for good and it was said by all her doctors and specialists that giving up smoking was the worst thing she did as soon as she stopped she was back on Morphene and lots of it and also a million other pharmaceuticals, she wasnt sleeping very well because of the drugs and also completely lost her appetite, these where all things she could only get by smoking cannabis.

I also used to have to get it for one of my bosses he is a VERY WELL KNOWN CHEF in this country and he has MS so i used to get it for him, he used to make teas and things but didnt smoke it, but it was the best thing he found to help his pain after a full day in the kitchen.

I believe that one day they will see the benefits but they will have to be benefits for the government and not the public.

Im only 24 and have seen my fair share of shit in this life and i smoke to stop anxiety, depression & insomnia which ive had since i was about 9 yrs old, I still go to work everyday I still do 14+hour shifts everyday and i can still successfully run businesses, its a life choice that helps me get on with my LIFE, and at a much faster speed than if i didnt smoke as id probably be stuck in my house all the time.

Sorry for that Rant over lol

thanks all

:420: :thanks: :circle-of-love: :Namaste:

Hey man,i tried to sign but UK citizen only.Im from south of Ireland and the law is the same, strictly no drugs of any kind. The government in Ireland and UK think they no it all but what they don't realize is that if they were to legalize it and allow it to be sold sensibly in cafes just like Amsterdam, then they could tax it and it would help the country's to get out of recession. It would draw thousands of tourist into the country's.But hey who am i to give a lecture about cannabis im only a Irish citizen with no say about anything in the country. It don't matter if you vote of not because they will still do what they want. Its more like a dictatorship than anything else. The government don't care about you or me or any1 for that matter, all they care about is what goes into there pockets.
It was worth a try tho.My hate is off 2 you.

So is this petition over ??? Sorry I never seen it before but if so I'll get all my peeps to sign it ok.
I have to say thanks for all your hard work in pushing this message across to us.
keep up that good work and will support you n how ever you need

hi there.

the old petition is over, the one that started this topic, but i found a replacement thats got long left on it. the link in my sig will point you to the updated petition =)

i hope so my friend, more for my kids than myself...ive spent several decades on this floating ball of rock and have come to the realisation that i dont care anymore that its illegal.
for anyone that knows D&D roleplay, my personality is predominantly 'chaotic-good' which basically translates to not giving a damn about the law, but only caring what is good vs evil.

i see no evil in assisting (by patient request) suicide- assuming its not for the wrong reasons (such as an intollerance to a short term problem)

i see no evil in growing this fine plant and smoking as much as i want. (on my own with a vape is undeniably not evil and virtually undeniably not harmful)

if i get caught, ill just suffer what my peers do to me and then go again. its my choice to make and i refute the right of ANY governing body to decide for me.

Yeah m8, Me to feel your pain bro. But may I ask why for your kids sake??? (I to have 3kids and not sure if you mean by the consequences? Of our actions lol sorry m8)
But I can say I agree with you about not caring so much about growing such a man made plant in terms of our Laws, But your also bang on bro about good V's evil and how we go about it is not evil at all and think that's a Damn good point bro.
D&D??? not sure what medical term this is! but your description of it is described myself lol. Good days and Bad my friend but will never stop what I've started as my beloved plant not only chills me but also assists in me getting a good notes kip.
Now I Do not get a buzz as such, (only f it's real good like my last grow Cheisel) but do always get that calm niceness feeling and helps me adjust my mood I'm feeling that day and I do give to my grandad who suffers with his legs Spondilitus and arthiritus and his doctor says this will help ease his pain tremendously.
Besides if legalized in some way the police could concentrate their resources on the real crime and the real drugs that Always causes misery to the drug users family and friends.
Would be so nice if it were and less feeling like a criminal when we are NOT.

its hard to explain what i mean about the kids because i mean it in so many ways.

my kids benefitted from racism being bad, from women getting the right to vote, from the british health service going free at the point of use e.t.c

from this abstract point of view, the world will be a better place for my children when weed is a normal and accepted part of the world.

i love my kids and i try to teach them a little of everything i know and why shouldnt that include gardening abilities, just because my preferred flower of choice offends some people =(

and finally i also mean something a little more pragmatic. i have already had to face a period in my life where i was forced away from my kids for a year and it was devastating to me and harmful to their education and sence of identity. my youngest child was only a baby at the time and subsequently it has taken much more time and work to make our bond as strong as that of my other kids. If i go to jail because of my hobby, its them that suffer...and all because someone out there has an agenda =(

Yea I see know thank you for explaining it and I do see her you mean and hope it won't ever come to that and our children do not ever experience a situation like that again.
I do see now and it's imperative that we do put our votes accross but until that day comes one can only dream I suppose.
