Light ballast problem?

Its a 1000 wats 6000k MH and 1000 wats light ballast what its the problem ? And its a switch for hps or mh sure I'm in mh switch

Did you check the switch to see if you are on 240V or 120V ?

I'm switched on 120 and I'm plugging in 120 I found what it is its the brand of the light it ahoud be m47 for mh and s52 for hps. Will find out in a few hours.

I had a hps bulb do that and ended up being the capacitor
If you get a new one get the ignitor to should be able to find both for around 50
