Light Timers

hi all, was wondering if anyone could provide some help on light timers. I ordered a 400W HPS/MH light system and was thinking about connecting this to a light timer that I picked up in Home Depot, ratings are 15amp resestive, 1000w Inductive, 1000w Tungsten, 1/3 HP, 125 VOLTS AC. Would I be okay connecting my light to this timer?

It will be ok. The 400w should draw 3.33 Amps based on 120V input. Just make sure it has 3 prongs
