Whats too close for cfl right now? Im 3 weeks in from seed and most of my gals are 1-3 inches away from bulbs. Right now im mostly using 5000 and 6500k bulbs but i do have a few 2700k that arent close to the gals and i do have air circulation in my closet. But basically im just wondering if its commonly possible for cfl to cause tip burn or heat stress?

Here's some recents of my bbys

What I've read 2-3in is as close as you wanna get, i kept my 60w cfl 5500k bulbs about 3in away from plant and they did great, i never saw any light burn or bleaching specifically though, what's the heat looking like? I know they don't let off much but maybe mixed with the room temp it's too hot?

I been keeping it in the low to mid 70'. Some spots just popped up on a gal i think i have some kind of deficiency instead of heat stress or tip burn. Im gonna flush today...

Really? I have 10 high lumen 5000 and 6500k bulbs with 5 2700k sprinkled in. I was told cfl is enough to get me through veg and idk how i could fit more in there anyway and i have a few reflective vizors hanging not even a foot over the lights.
