Anytime you increase light intensity you should get better yield. How big is your tent? Don't think it would be a Huge difference.

I'd say 5ftx5ftx6ft just done some cheese in it but only got 2oz a plant out of it

I have 3 Mars-Hydro lights. I use a Mars II 900 in my flower tent. Last harvest was 4 plant and a little over 15 oz of very hard dense buds. You may find that you like your LED enough to replace your 600 hps.

Some are better then others. After doing my research I felt that the Mars-Hydro light gave the best bang for the buck. You can find Cheaper lights that don't function as well and more expensive lights that may do better, but my last harvest was the best I have had. I had 1 Blue Blood, 1 White Widow, 1 Critical SIlver Super Haze and 1 Blue Berry Kush. Most were between 3 and 4 oz the Blue Blood was 6. Check out my journals and you can see some of the results.
