Living soil drenched after hurricane

Good morning,

I have a slight concern that I could use a bit of help with. I have a living soil that I have been cooking outside the last few weeks. After the rains from the hurricane I went out to give the soil a toss and turn. When I removed the tarp a foul smell hit me and my soil was drenched. The last few days have been warm so I have had it out in the sun tossing and turning trying to get it to dry out. This morning the soil has lost most of it shitty smell and is drying out. My question is will the soil be ok after this? SHould I add anything to it help it along? Any help or advice would be great.

I've had that happen, you will be OK.

Water will wash away some of the nitrogen that is soluble.

IF your mix has enough Calcium that won't be a problem.

Can aways do a ACT with EWC and Kelp meal to rejuvenate the proper bacteria.

The smell is from anaerobic bacteria taking over the good bacteria due to too much water.

The bad bacteria (for plants) like high Nitrogen - why cow shit smells like shit for a while.

Rain washes excess N out, problems solved with time and an ACT.

All about population with these microbes.
