Lollipopping Questions!

Would it be a good move to lollipop if I'm not using a net? I'm just using bamboo sticks for support! I don't want a lot of popcorn to trim lol xD

There are so many opinions on what to remove/not that I won't touch that at all. However, if you don't want to trim popcorn then lower area defoliation is definitely needed.

I would also add some plants can handle the pop better than others.

I generally give my plants a good trim around Day 25-28 of Flower. I like them to go through their stretch first. I will take basically all the fan leaves off. Then I will do it again around day 45 if needed.

This dude I know pulls a mature harvest in 60 days he lollipops on day 14 of flower. I will take 25-28 days in to consideration! I'm going with supersoil so I know it'll take longer than him! Thanks guys!

Impossible IMO. I think he's blowing smoke.

Unless he owns a lab, I don't see how he's altering genetic code to speed up maturation time.

Autos don't even finish that fast.

Honest to god I've seen it done 4 times in 8 months! He uses coco and canna nutes! Also starts with clones!

And what is his DRY yield per plant?

Veg time?

Total flower time?

Type of lighting used?

Light schedule?

I'd also like to see some proof, 4 times in 8 months looks like approximately 2 months from clone to harvest, I really don't see a really good harvest being completed in that time frame. Rooting alone typically takes 5-14 days.

With only 30 days of flower, what do the trichomes look like? I personally don't like the "heady" buzz I get from clear. I prefer mostly cloudy with some amber. I haven't seen any strain that I have grown be anything but clear after 30 days.

What strain is he growing?

And out of curiosity, is he including the sugar leaves, or is all trim removed and only buds are kept?

30 days is just a really short flower time as SG said above. I'm about 15 days into flower now, and not even close to a harvest.

It's about 10% amber with 40-50% red hairs the strain is red dragon and it's super hairy and it's clean dried weight!

I'm seeing a 60-70 day flowering time on that strain..

If he's really making this happen, he could share some secrets that change how everyone grows.
