Lost my draft after saving it

I have been working on a draft for the past hour. I saved it and when I went back to edit, it was gone. Any thoughts on where to look for it. Thank you.

I don't think there's a way to get it back.

It's happened to me a few times. After the first time, whenever I work on a long post I back it up to a text editor on my desktop. I toggle the BB Code first, so that I get the formatting and links too. Some of my posts take days to complete. I'll do something, document it, do the next step, and so on.
