Male flowers on lower buds

I found 2 maybe 3 male flowers forming on underneath the lowest of lowers. She's about week 4 from flip. I did an aggressive pruning of all lower branches and underdeveloped buds to help prevent anymore. I guess I'll keep monitoring and cull her if the flowers start multiplying. But damn she's a frosty mofo. She's got gg4 in the genetics so herm was always a possibility.

My question is what are the chances the pruning will help keep these from returning?

Are you sure they're not swollen calyx's (bracts)?

100% sure it’s a male flower. I opened it up. I haven’t found another yet. I also tightened up the room to make sure there’s no light leaks. I’m trying to take all preventative measures.

It’s been a week and no new male flowers. Any possible light leaks were removed. I added a humidifier and increased the airflow too.
