Marijuana and Working out?

Hey guys!

I have been wondering if it is okay to smoke pot even though I workout? like i don't plan to smoke before,during, or after my workout session, but smoke during my rest days..will this affect me in any way?
 
well some people say they get a better work out if they smoke a lil bit before a work out and others say the high is just better after a workout..i dont think it matters much but i may be wrong
 
smoking will help ya relax. resting after working out is almost as important as the working out

I do after I workout for the appetite stimulation. I can easily throw down 2 x 3 times the protein and caloric intake then I normally would. I stay away from junk food though and eat real whole foods.
 
It's more fun to work out when buzzed. The only setback is the appetite that might destroy any kind of diet you have.. lol.

Nah it would mess with my lifting. need a straight head to get into it. I consume clean calories (usually) for my post workout smoke and meal. My interest in working out is to build lean muscle mass. So I try not to feed on too much garbage.
 
90% of the time I smoke before I go to the gym. For me I work out a lot better for some reason. I don't feel my muscles burning as much so I workout much longer. But it's not for everyone, my buddy has tried it few times, he kinda just sits there staring into space and wastes time.

this was what i was thinking to use it as a appetite stimulation because I would sometimes have a hard time finishing up my protein shakes, especially in the morning (low appetite level).

the other problem is consuming too much..

so, if I were to use it to relax and use it as a appetite stiumulation...how would I go about?

Just dont smoke too much in the morning if thats when you plan on using it. I would give myself plenty of time to ensure a straight mind.

I manage to quiet my mind better, so well that I forget the next move!

I used to be an avid jogger and getting high 3 or 4 times a month didn't seem
to interfere.

I used to get stoned all the time before i would work out. it gave me that "mind-muscle" link and really helped my focus. only problem was sometimes, after I'd smoke some really good shit, I'd not really feel like doing anything except sitting on the couch watching the tv, lol.

Do you meen like chittivritti? Unless I have smoked I can't even get close to a 'quiet mind.'
 
Personally, I sometimes just start working out at home while baked, SOMETIMES.

It's really random, sometimes I'll feel like it and sometimes I won't. If I don't feel like it, I just absolutely won't do it.
Now, if I DO feel like it, I'm unstoppable. :)
 
I workout about 5 times a week and I must say that when I do happen to smoke before I workout... it makes it a lot more fun and I believe I get more of a workout in because it makes me more patient so I do more exercises than normal.
 
I work out pretty regularly at home in my lounge. I have dumbells and a straight bar and to be honest I can't remeber the last time I worked out while dry. After smoking I do my stretches, weights and then some crunches. It feels so good I just don't get tired until I decide to stop. I find if I watch material containing hot chicks, sex or straight up porn while I train - I train even harder and have that extra ginger to push myself to the extreme. This might sound funny but it really works. I usually shower and go to bed afterwards and the excercise helps me to get better sleep.
