Police are investigating the theft of legal drugs in Sacramento after robbers went after a medical marijuana store.
Owners of The Canna Store, located off Harris Avenue in North Sacramento, said the location is well-known to thousands of people who use medical marijuana.
Police were called to The Canna Store about 11:30 a.m. after a man with handgun entered the store lobby.
Officers said the robber got a small amount of marijuana and cash.
Lt. Michael Bray of the Sacramento police said the suspect pointed the handgun at the security guard, disarmed the security guard, took his handgun and robbed the establishment.
