Hey all, old school stoner here growing my first crop. I have some real beauties growing in the California sun out in my backyard. I consider myself a gardener with advanced skills but am a newbie with ganja. I’ll list out all the relevant details of my garden below.

6 plants in 10 gallon grow bags
Homemade super soil, organic amendments, lots of aeration at the roots.
2 Jack Herer, 2 Blueberry, 1 White Widow, 1 Dutch Power Plant. From feminized seeds.
soil and water ph are close to neutral, slightly acidic, 6.5 - 7
In vegetative as of today June 15,
Started in March outdoors or under fluorescent during bad weather
Some munching on leaves has been observed, unknown pest.
what am I forgetting??

I have very healthy plants overall but recently am seeing some light green mottling or spots on a few leaves. It’s not isolated to any one part of the plants but I’ve also noticed some of the older leaves turning yellow on the bottom of the plants. I’m worried about mosaic virus or other bacterial. I’ve found some cucumber beetles hanging out in my plants but I’ve been giving the plants a good daily shaking to keep them moving.

Another issue I’m having is with one of my two Blueberry plants. She’s a little different and I think I may have a phenotype leaning more towards one of the Thai genetics. She’s getting pretty pale. She always looks a little wilted (wants to be in a greenhouse?) but lately looking pale also. I added a bit more blood meal mixed into the top layer of soil to see if she’d green up but no real change. Maybe she outgrew the nitrogen supply? She’s got some of the spotting too and wants more water than the others. This is the blueberry that looks more Thai to me. The other pics of spotting are from the other plants in the garden. Thanks for any help you can offer. I know there are lots of green thumbs out there. Peace!

Nice plants, Brother! :welldone:

I wouldn't worry about a plant that size shedding some of the lower growth...That's pretty normal.

Those leaves showing the mottling looks like the start of a Magnesium deficiency (yellowing between the leaf veins on lower growth). What are you using for Mag in your soil mix? Assuming that's the issue, you can try adding some Cal-Mag to the next watering. :Namaste:

Thank you friend. Funny you should mention the Magnesium. When I was making my mix I had trouble getting Epsom salts so I left it out! Oops! I will get right on the Cal Mag and hopefully straighten this out soon.

oops, replied as a new comment. See below!

UPDATE: My jungly looking Blueberry plant continues to get pale. One of the Jack Herer plants also starting to be a bit droopy and looking pale too ☹ As far as I know I’m not over watering but it’s been windy lately.

ALSO: My PH is not 6.5-7 at all!! Got a legitimate test (threw away the worthless test strips) and it turns I’m watering my girls at 9.2! I checked the utilities website and alkalinity is 20-40, so not high.

I will start adjusting my water. Could this be causing my problems?
