Need Some Advice

Okay, for the last couple of grows it seems that my plants arent happy.
I've had multiple strains both Indica and Sativa, so i know thats not the issue.

The problem is that after a couple of days under my 400w HPS the plants sort of (Bleach?) get blotches of yellowing.. then after i feed them they tend to get what sort of looks Phosphorus Deficient and the leaves brown and dry...

what could be the problem? ive placed a plant outdoors and it just took off with lush green growths..

please i need to get consistent with my grows, i would really appreciate ANY insight/coments

EDIT: the light is in a closet about 6' wide 7' tall 1' deep

We are going to need more info than that. A total run down of your room. Temps. RH medium etc... My first guess would be too dry of a room. the plants can't transpire enough and dry out and die. But that's totally a guess. Pics would help too.

its in FFOF. im guessing the temps are around 80F? no way to measure RH

the main problem im getting is the blotches of yellowing, what can cause this?
in latter stages ive had plants bleach through out, and lost a crop

What's the run-off ph at when you water? I was having a similar sounding problem and it turned out my PH was way off a little lime fixed her right up. Good luck on the problem!

well my runoff was 7.2 i guess i added to much lime to my soil mix,
i managed to get the runoff to 6.8 after a nice flush

Odd question.... have you changed you bulb? I don't use HID, but I know the bulbs actually wear out. I wonder if the bleaching leaves is cause by the leaves not getting the proper light.

well im starting to think that it may ust be the PH, how would i go about lowering it ? i think i added to much lime
