Can someone help me out with this. The lower leaves are twisting and the tips are burnt and the upper leaves are curling down while their tips are curling up

Leaves look awfully dark. I'd say too much N

That's what I suspected. I diluted my water down 300 ppm and then added a 2-8-4 solution to bring it back up to 1400. I think the curling leaves are a P deficiency so hopefully this will work. We'll see. Also got my water temp back down to 70.

1400 PPM!? Yowza. Maybe you've got a hungry strain, but the little dwarf autos that I grow go toxic at more than 400.

I agree with Mr. Fortwenty that the problem is nitrogen toxicity. Google "cannabis nitrogen claw" for lots of examples. Clawing is probably the simplest, most definitive symptom there is.

I agree with Mr. Fortwenty that the problem is nitrogen toxicity. Google "cannabis nitrogen claw" for lots of examples. Clawing is probably the simplest, most definitive symptom there is.

And of course the leaf tips burned. Not surprising at >1000 PPM.

I dont think so, ive fed higher then that with no problem. All strains are different

Correct you are! But this one defiantly has way to much N

I appreciate it. I flushed with sledgehammer and used a new nut solution with way less N. I'll keep a close eye on her and hope to see changes.

But 2-8-4 IS low N.

Yes I was using the Fox Farm Trio and one of the nut solution bottles is 6-4-4. I didn't use any of that one in this mixture

Is this normal after Nitogen toxicity or am I dealing with something else too? There is spotting on some of the leaves and some are yellowing in the center of the leaves. Could these be Cal and Mag deficiencies?

I'm no expert at diagnosing plant problems but I don't think it's a nitrogen toxicity. There's something else going on.

Good luck my friend i had a similar problem during my first dwc and i tracked it back to big temperature changes in water and to much nitrogen...good luck hope you get it straightened out
