I would not use it. Very little lumen output little chance its anywhere near the right spectrum for useable light. End result will most likely be severely stretched out plants. Buy a few 23W 6500K CFLs

Thank you MC, finally someone answered, i thinked the same think but my partner wanted use.

Listen to Mc Budz, and you can grab em at Wal-mart for about $15 for the 4ft fixture and a 2 pack of bulbs for $10 and you will be far better off than using that light you have. Good luck buddy.

Neon light really sucks.
Switch to a really good light 2 days ago.
