Yes you assume correctly Kitty I bought it at Dementia which does have an amazing roor collection, the best I've ever seen in a headshop. The people there seem to be pretty nice.

I got it for 230 plus 10% off and the bowl was 60 so with tax I left paying $263. It originally came with a 14mm regular downstem which they let me trade out 18mm diffused one.

I like the Black Label. Very slick indeed. Although I think that slide would match my Orange Label better than you Black Label. Ice catches on a straight RooR is something I have yet to expetience.
I like the 18mm size too, I have 14mm's. Very nice.

you could have payed that much and got one from germany. o well, to each his own. i work in a headshop, we almost got german roors then they called and asked what we sell, someone said adult toys, movies, tobacco. they dont sell to sex shops. but now we have what we could get which is ridiculously overpriced american ones, but ill sell you one anytime you want, b/c if you wanna buy it, its the best thing on earth. stay green. peace. ps- still a nice pipe/bowlpiece none the less

I would have to agree that the USA ones are usually way overpriced in most shops. Too bad they don't sell German RooR's in America and you are simply forced to order it from the UK and pay more for shipping.

yes, i do. i hope that didnt come off negatively. i meant nothing by it. i mean, either way, us or german. youre basically paying for the name. i know a lot of people who will not buy any kind of roor for that reason. and since we got the us roors at my store me and a customer almost threw down in fisticuffs b/f an employee stepped in. (really werent going to fight, just a heated debate). no matter how you smoke it, its all the same green goodness that brings us together. stay green. peace. roorman, yer da man, man. stir it up!!

No it wasn't negative at all. German or USA RooR, who cares! It's a REAL RooR, that's all that matters. For that matter, anyone with a nice GonG waterpipe has the right to be proud of it. Just keep it clean, and it will serve you well.

They represent the different wall thicknesses. They are not just colors of the label, they are significant to the thickness of the glass. KL told me the corresponding color-thickness statistics, but needless to say I have forgotten most of it. I do remeber that the Yellow is 5.0mm and the Orange is 7.0mm. I forget what Black actually is, but it's either one of these as well I think since they are the most popular thicknesses. 5.0mm is just right, while 7.0mm is a little thicker than you need.
