I am undergoing my first grow ever and with hydro at about 60ish days..one has already started to flower..the sativa. The indicas don't show anything. I read last night that one should trim their plants and thin them out for air flow and to concentrate the nuts into the soon to be buds. I trimmed a lot but I am at aloss to figure out which of the fresh leaves i see should I have pinched off and what might have been sites of potential flowering. Since this process is to be done before flowering starts for my eye it makes it difficult. What do I look for to trim or not to trim, top etc. Also aside from the trimming before flowering is there any other cutting to be recommended and at what point in the grow process? The trimmings I do have smell righteous and I'll be drying them out to experiement. Have people smoked these before ( as long as they're not brown )? thanks for any feedback.
