Newbie Question Brown Leaves

I am growing some 'Medusa' strain, and have two 2 week old seedlings that have turned very light in colour, and leaves are turning brown. The 2 older plants, 3 weeks old are very lush, dark green, yet are not showing this. They are on 24hrs per day light via an Envirolite, 125w placed 4 inches above them (was double the height, but after reading this was too high, made changes). Any help on this would be appreciated.............

If they are turning brown, sounds like they are a gonner.

is that one light supplying all the plants? sounds like some leaves didn't get enough light.

how moist is the soil? have you used fertilizer yet?

It was Nute Burn. Had given them too much, too quickly - typical newbie mistake I'm afraid! Anyway, the other 2 are over 9 inches & really, really bushy. Have started off 2 California Orange. Have definitely learnt something though - too little better than too much!

hey when feeding your plants, you wanna make sure the roots are wet before feeding, dry roots is the number one cause of burning.

So you would give a good watering first, before giving nutrients? Cheers...........
