Your somewhat right, but your making huge generalizations. The actual numbers are what matter. For instance a 10-10-10 fert can do the same as a 5-5-5 fert if it is fed at a different interval or mixed to less strength. What the fert is derived from is just as important because chemical ferts. usually work much differently than organic ones. Also, plants need some of all nutrients for every stage of growth, saying "low" and "high" does not mean much.

I suggest you try searching more of the forums for information on what other people like to use for ferts. for the varying stages of growth. Might I suggest looking at the grow journals.
