Lebanon - Nearly a half ton of what's described as high-grade marijuana was seized in in an operation that started in Warren County Monday. It started with an undercover purchase of 100 pounds of marijuana for $180,000 in Warren County. That was coordinated with the execution of six search warrants in Montgomery and Darke counties. The total yield of pot confiscated came to about 750 pounds.

Law enforcement officials told 2 NEWS the bulk of the seizure appears to have come from marijuana dispensaries in Oregon, Colorado, and California. Also seized was hashish, THC laced drinks, brownies, and candy, also sold in dispensaries in Western states. An unspecified amount U.S. Currency was also seized. Casey Oakes and Bradley O'Neal were arrested for the trafficking of the 100 pounds of marijuana. Additional indictments are expected in the next few weeks. The Warren County Drug Task Force collaborated with the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation, DEA Dayton and Columbus Offices, the RANGE Drug Task Force, Ohio State Highway Patrol, and Darke County Sheriff's Office.
