Is it good enough to just vent the cap or should I buy the ona breeze?

Does it dry out quickly? Do you add water to it when it does?

My intake and exhaust go to the same room, two closets are built back to back and I have hot air blowing out the top and cool or naturally rushing in the bottom. Will ONA fuck up my plants? I plan to order the unscented kind.
