Peterborough County OPP Find 10,000 Marijuana Plants In Field North Of Havelock

(HAVELOCK) Peterborough County OPP have found 10,000 marijuana plants in field north of Havelock.

OPP say the value of drugs is around $10 million.

OPP say the bust was a result of a two-week investigation. On Thursday, detectives of the OPP Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau - Drug Enforcement Unit, members of the Emergency Response Team (ERT), and the Central Region Canine Unit came to the property and stopped a vehicle leaving a property on County Road 44.


Sheng Zhang, 41, of Markham, and Jingsun Gou, 46, of Toronto, are charged with production of a controlled substance and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
