Pothead vs. Pro-pot activist

Dosage is the key to any healthy form of drug.

I can easily say that I used to be a complete pot-head. I loved to smoke, just to get high and ride the mystical waves of euphoria. Now I have changed into a pro-pot activist, whom doses himself to a limit of mj for medical purposes. I use pot for anxiety/depression/and laziness. Throughout the years I have been playing around with my dosage and have found a fantastic medium that I feel is right for me.

Using the correct dosage, which means, yes there will be regulation, is not a bad thing. I personally hate potheads. I know too many of them that love to get high and do nothing else but just that. It is damaging to their personal growth and resctricting them from being a productive member in society.

Potheads are a major reason why the govenment has not legally put pot on the market. Think about it, the government doesn't want everyone getting high and lazy all the time. The country would suffer tremendiously.

I post this message in hopes to challenge you. Find that happy medium for yourself. Life ends up passing you by if you don't. Ask yourself , are you a pothead or are you an activist for those that need this medication?

Happy smokin.

Good post, but the gov dosn't want it legal because of politics which ties in with money.. and lots of it. They would actually like if we were all zombies who didn't care what they did, they could move to a socialistic gov (totalitarian state) and we wouldn't care. Now what the media emphasizes is that they don't want cannabis legalized because of the hippies/potheads.

I agree about using cannabis in moderation... Everything in moderation really.

Well, I should have rephrased that. I really didn't mean to put the being a pothead or the government being afriad of potheads was a major reason for the legalization of pot. I should have said that it really doesn't help our cause.

Well they certainly don't hurt. Who do you think is voting for these intiatives and referendums to get these bills passed? Potheads (as you like to call them)are part of our culture. And without them there would zero chance of the laws being passed. This plant is medicinal on various levels and virtually everyone could benefit from its wide spread use.

First of all hate is a strong word, I hope thats the right word you meant to use.

Okay seriously dude wtf lol. Im a pothead, and I love getting high but that doesn't make me a non productive member of society. It doesn't mean my life is passing me by either. I pay my taxes, I have a great job and a girlfriend. And guess what I volunteer my time to, how much volunteer work do you do a week weazypleazy? Yea point proven.

And it sure isn't cause of me the government doesn't make it legal. The government doesn't make it legal cause of a few things. Probally the biggest is huh all those prisoners who, if it was made legal, would file lawsuits, I know I would if I was one of em. And guess what it would hurt a lot of big bussinesses, and thats who our government truely protects and serves.

We all share the same awe, respect, and love towards this sacred plant, I only wish we could do the same amongst ourselves, but I guess we are still a ways away from that day. I hope you sir have a great day, cause I know I will smoking my weed all day long. Like I always say no matter who you are or your beliefs, peace brother.:ganjamon:

Someday when its legal, 50% of us will probably stop smoking the herb. Instead we will be making and buying products, that include the active components in marijuana that many of us prefer.

There will always be those who smoke, just like those who smoke tabacco, but the movement, when legal, will push towards a healthier way of consuming the herb.

Marijuana is safe a plant to consume orally. If marijuana were legal today, I would expect to see many by-products of the plant introduced into the market place. Many would be speciality food product, like brownies, and beverages. Why would someone, who does not smoke, smoke marijuana, when they could just go down to there local coffee shop and buy a pastry made with marijuana extracts.

Today we find all kinds of pain relief, stress relief, and much more, on drug store shelves. Drugs similar to marijuana have been available over the internet for 10 years plus. Although some of these drugs you need a prescription, from your doctor, for the most part these companies operate in countries that prescribe without the need for a written prescription from your doctor. Mail order. The laws are so confusing in the United States, it is difficult to understand what you can buy, and what you can't buy from these companies, hence almost anything advertised over the internet is questionably legal in normal prescribed dose (30 day supply) from a doctor. Most companies can deliver fed ex overnight. I don't see the DEA tracking down every purchase...asking the patient to produce a prescription. If your selling the drugs, you will probably get a visit from your local police, before the DEA has a problem with you. Muscle relaxers seem to be the best deals online.

My thought is, there will be a few countries that will allow the sale of medicial marijuana over the internet in the next few years. The revenue those countries receive from taxes, will hold up to the pressures from the United States to shut them down (Bush made this possible). Cuba would be a good example of a country that could grow and market marijuana around the world. They do not receive any assistant from the USA, hence it would only increase the revenue for a country in great need of an economic boost. Just look what the United States did to Cuba's cigar industry. Everything now is made in the Dominican Republic. Think Cuba's happy about that?

Believe it or not, the United States is in a civil war. Those who support the legalization of marijuana (the plant), and the Republician party are at battle. The legalazation supporters are winning, and the Republicians are having a huge problem with deserters, and their recruitment efforts have failed over the last 8years. In 2012, the next election for president, the results will show the Republicians as the third party, behind the Green party.

I'm looking forward to 2010, when the republician party will be the minority party in almost all 50 states. We are almost there.

It's not right to say its us verses the republican party. I know many republicans who are pro cannabis. I myself as an independent conservative find myself agreeing with the republicans more than the democrats. But I vote on how I see it.

i was just going to say they same thing about the republican thing... there are a lot of republicans that smoke pot. (George Bush) lol

i would say its a generation gap maybe?? people over 75 are less likely to approve. in my opinion..
