I'm using flova feeding system micro, gro and bloom the chart I have says for my ppm to be 800-1000ppm and mine is only 530 gave it all the right amount of nuts and today I noticed my ppm goes down and my ph will go up now my ph is right and my ppm is still low any advice will help thanks

Yea its calibrated correct checked it 3 times I use micro first then gro then bloom what would couse my ppm to keep dropping

Also you should consider that different sources/people use differnet conversions of EC to reach their ppm's.

One of the problems with converting with Growers in different areas and with different equipment is that CF/ppm/EC meters
express different yet very similar measurements. All effectively say the same exact thing it's just a case of what measurement is used

The two levels expressed at either end of the columns are the generic measurements of CF and EC and the center 3 column express the different PPM equivalents for the 3 most popular meters used internationally

sorry that didn't copy and paste well... Essentially EC is the electric conductivity of specific salts in your soup... ppms are derived by converting the EC to ppm's through an equation that are not the same with all ppm meters... The three most common conversions are .5, .64, and .7. From what I understand.

Just be careful following recommendations of ppm and make sure you are using the same conversion.

That's good info.... i personally know nada on "ppm" and some off your words are new to me. Is there a way I can do the equation w/out a meter? and when adding for Ph i use General Hydro when i use test tube i get Ph to my level what equation would b equal as far as my 6-5 gallon buckets, say 20 gallons? the chart says ...=1 gallon. I tested today and may have killed em by making (-) ACID low then just as much base +.... to counter act...HELP?!?
